| | I've actually been trying to get out to Palau for some time now... I had reservations to go here last summer. However, two days prior to departure, Palau cut off all visitors from Taiwan (and other SARS effective areas), so I ended up rescheduling to Malaysia instead.
I'm happy to finally make it here though. The Rock Islands and world class, and the diving is first rate, and you will find unique features such as a land locked salt water lake filled with non-stinging jelly fish... |
| The Great White (Tipped) Shark... |
| | Can't say so much about the town of Koror, though.... Things are expensive, and it actually resembles more of an American suburban town than a Micronesian village. (Spread out, lots of cars, not so easy to walk around....)
Anyway, the real attraction are the islands, and the wealth of marine life in the waters around them. If you visit here, you would be well served to max your time out on the water and amongst the many islands here...
So please, take a look into this world of proficiently multiplying sharks, deserted tropical islands, unique jellyfish lakes, and also a free world class outdoor spa facilities, to boot.... |
