| | Burma Come to Burma. It's a land like no other...
Of all of the countries that I have visited in the world, Burma is my favorite... I have been lucky enough to have hd the chance to visit here three times so far, and would certainly jump at the chance to see more...
There is so much to see and do here... Yangon with the amazing Shwedagon Paya, the Sacred Balanced boulder of Kyiaktiyo, Hill tribe hiking around Kengtung in the Golden Triangle, and the ancient temples of Bagan... |
| With the adopted family... |
| | And being an isolated country like Burma is (due to the local military junta...) I have found that the culture in Burma seems to be more pure and less influenced by the outside world, than in some of the surrounding countries in this area... Visiting here, especially if off the beaten path, feels like take a step back in time...
Be sure to bring lots and lots of film (or memory chips in this digital age), Burma is quite photogenic... Temples, but most of all, the people... |
