    • Remember to yield the right-of-way on high alpine tracks to livestock. They certainly aren't going to yield to you - unless you remembered to bring the mountain corgi with you. They are bred to clear the paths!!

    The picture is from the ridge between the Rhine on the right and the Samina on the left, and it shows about half of the Principality - the little pasture area midleft is Steg.

     The Majoratspalais has to be a must for me! The Saminatal folk tale is delightful and the walking guides excellent - do you have any sitting guides too? Next time you must get a photo of some of the dodgy international tax-evading bank account holders!
