Travelled to Xian as part of an organised tour , so we only had a few days here and had to keep with the group and follow the fixed paths. Still that did take us to the tourist highlights and there is quite a lot to see here. Unfortunately it meant I didn't get chance to get off the beaten path into places like the Muslim Quarter.
