I stayed at Airlie Beach but that doesn't have a page so I'll add my comments here.
I was here in November and the weather was almost perfect - just a bit on the humid side.
Airlie Beach is defintely a party town with lots of backpackers from round the world enjoying themselves all thru the night. |

While staying here I went out twice on this yacht, an ex racing boat the maxi Ragamuffin. One of the trips was to Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island itself - commonly regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world |

MMmm White heaven beach let's me dream again of sailing in the Whitsundays, it's indeed heaven there. I never heard that dark T-shirt's attract flies, I shall take more white ones with me. Great photos from one of the nicest parts of Australia. | Paul2001 Fri Sep 12, 2003 00:30 UTC
