A VT meeting and then some...

When a Big VT Meet in Melbourne was first suggested in the forums, I was one of the first to say "I'm there!". Several months later, the visit became a reality - an opportunity to cement some great on-line friendships as well as to meet new friends also.

This was also an opportunity to take my first glimpse of Australia - and I think it was the start of a love affair. Melbourne was a fantastic introduction, and now I can't wait to see more of this amazing country. I have peeked round the door, so to speak, a tiny peek admittedly but future visits beckon. And of course I have so many wonderful friends here.

So, I had 5 short days in this vibrant, cosmopolitan, friendly city. Not long at all, but in between the wonderful Big Meet events, I put on my walking shoes and endeavoured to see as much as I could. This is what I found...
