Pyramids, temples and squares.

Holy places old and new.
We were very apprehensive about going to Mexico City having heard a lot about crime problems. Whilst we were only there for 3 days, we didn't get any bother and there is a lot to be said for being sensible and making sure you don't go off the beaten path (especially at night), lock your valuables in safety deposit boxes and don't carry vast sums of cash and valuables around with you.

Pros:"Great architecture and history."
Cons:"Terrible reputation for crime."
In A Nutshell:"Don't let reports of crime put you off - just be sensible!"

Enjoyed your pg. We bought some chocolates in Sanborn's in Merida that were outstanding, so I can imagine that their restaurant would serve good food. Very helpful tips.

Sandborn's, Teotihuacan... the epitomy of D.F. Mexico! I loved Mexico and Mexico City was better than I expected (besides getting pick pocketed on the subway..haha). Great page! Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
