We were very apprehensive about going to Mexico City having heard a lot about crime problems. Whilst we were only there for 3 days, we didn't get any bother and there is a lot to be said for being sensible and making sure you don't go off the beaten path (especially at night), lock your valuables in safety deposit boxes and don't carry vast sums of cash and valuables around with you. |
