Tourist Trap: Little Italy - *Don't* go for...
  • Tip Rating:
  • Little Italy - *Don't* go for an Italian meal in Little Italy, it's a waste of time. It's overpriced and there are better places elsewhere. *Do* eat Chinese in China Town then have coffee and a desert in Little Italy (Tiramisu... mmmmmm).

Statue of Liberty: The Statue of Liberty - why...
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Statue of Liberty - why pay when you can go free? The Staten Island ferry is free (that's free) and goes straight past The Statue of Liberty. Unless you really want to pay through the teeth to queue for hours for an up close glimpse of it, do this. It's quick and painless. I reckon she's overrated though anyway! ;)

Nice photos, funny stories. Being a Brit myself I understand exactly what you went through in NYC. It is such an amazing place, you could never see it all.
