Round. Very round with bits of land, mountains in places, lots of water, and sun and rain and er.. people.

Trying to visit every country in Europe - and struggling - have about 3 more to do - that's a lie, I have a lot more than 3 but I started travelling in 1986 and there were less countries then..

Despite having visited places like Barcelona and Paris too many times to mention I've chosen to write about other more interesting places - well interesting to me.

Have also ventured out of Europe but I'm a Europhile and I'm in love with the place - no other continent on earth can match it for its diversity.

Who ever reads these pages - good luck and enjoy. I hope you have as much fun as I have over the years - travel broadens the mind so they say - well mine must be a few miles wide by now..
