Kavarna Posta: Viennese Coffeehouse

My friend Michael (globetrott) wrote such an enthusiastic review of this coffeehouse which made me going to Liberec :-)

And he is right! The architecture is historistic (Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque), with high ceilings, stucco works, large mirrors on the walls etc.

The food was excellent, prices low, service quick - but the waitress a bit unfriendly.

Favorite Dish: I had Palacinky (sort of crepes) with blueberries, vanilla ice cream with pieces of chocolate plus whipped cream - delicious. Cappuccino was very good and came with a glass of water (like in Vienna).

My friends had different pieces of cakes/tarts, like Sacher e.g. - very good as well.

Comparison: about average

Directions: Right behind the town hall, to the left of the theatre.

Price: less than US$10
