| Bird View of Kabul, the Capital of Afghanistan |
I was among the first Chinese official group for Afghanistan, a country torn by decadeds of war and conflicts and appeared not even a complete house on my first day into the city. Like most people who live in the peaceful situation, I can hardly imagine what I have seen and heard during my stay in Afghanistan, which were all caused by war, drought and extreme rules of Taliban. The process of reconsturction, however, goes much faster that I expected though the international assistance always come later than thier promises. There are now traffic jams , pro-super market , sensational Indian movies and unfortuanately the heads of Buddahs from Bamiyang, in which the giant Buddah have been destroyed and a large number of small Buddahs were beheaded for religious and commercial reasons. Anyway, my trip to Afghanistan, in which I have so far travelled Kabul, Parwan, Pajeri , Herat and Nanghar Provinces constitutes one of the most important parts of my life. I will be more that happy to share with you about my feeling towards this country full of misfortunes. |
