Elvis can be spotted anywhere in Vegas. He can even perform your wedding ceremony at one of the many chapels. Well, this photo was taken at Madame Tussauds but there were several other Elvis sightings during the trip.

Many people come to Vegas to get married. For this reason, there are lots of wedding chapels that cater to everyone's taste. Get married by Elvis, the drive through wedding and the wedding chapel/motel. Also, many of the large hotels, Bellagio included, have their own wedding facilities. I saw four or five couples taking their wedding photos on one Friday afternoon.

This plaque outside the Mirage honors performers Siegfried and Roy for the long standing show. The Siegfried and Roy show was closed permanently after Roy Horn was attacked on stage by one of the white tigers used in the show. The animals from the show are now located in Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden at the Mirage, and the white tigers are on display in a separate area in the hotel.

This guy is all over town. I think this version of the King was adapted from his later years though.

As many, many people will tell you, no matter where you go and what you do on your Vegas trip, the unofficial motto here, used so much it has become cliche, is that "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Repeat this as often as necessary, especially after your trip.

The Strip and surrounding areas cater to tourists. Those who work in these parts are extremely friendly and helpful, and they work, by and large for tips. Tip the bellman, tip your servers, bartenders, dealers, and tip the person who stands outside and hails the waiting cab. Remember to also tip the people who clean your room, help with show tickets and your cab drivers. Everyone comes to Vegas hoping to have a great time and expecting to spend some money and these folks are the ones who make the experience so worthwhile in many respects. So take care of them. Tipping guidelines: Taxi drivers and servers: 15-20% Bartenders: $1- $2 per drink, unless you've been comped, then give more. Bellman: $1-2 per bag Housekeeping: $2-3 per day, depending on how many people per room,
