Coconut Grove is characterized in photographs by large homes, tree lined streets and sidewalk cafes. This area, south of Miami, is the more artistic side of the city and has its popular annual arts festival along its main street.

Although its largely tourist trap, with its rickshaw rides, strolling photographers and other kitsch, "the 'Grove" remains a must see destination to get an idea of what life in Miami is like.
