Mariposa Travel Guide: 43 reviews and 87 photos

Mariposa is a small town located about 30 miles west of the Arch Rock entrance into Yosemite. Its a small community which makes a great place to stay overnight if you're planning to tour Yosemite. There's a collection of motels and restaurants and its a less costly alternative to staying in the park. Although its only 30 or so miles from Yosemite, the drive along the winding road with its steep turns will take almost an hour.
