Big Pine is another tiny blink and you'll miss it area along the Eastern Sierra Scenic Byway. Stop here for a while and head out along one of the dirt roads leading away from the highway (Yosemite can wait for a while, trust me) and you'll encounter some of California's most spectacular hidden scenery. Without the crowds.
