Phoenix, the sixth largest city in the country, is named after the lengendary bird which rose from its own ashes and was reborn.
Phoenix is a large yet friendly city. It has a desert climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Winters are mild and snow is rare. It gets hot in the summer (up to 115-120 f) but its a "dry heat." |
