Quebec City, c'est magnifique!

by Dabs - last update: Apr 1, 2007

Chateau Frontenac
I had wanted to visit this city for years since seeing an article in National Geographer Traveler with the pictures of the amazing Chateau Frontenac hotel which dominates the Upper Town of Quebec City so I finally cashed in some miles and headed to Montreal with a 2 night stay in Quebec City and found the city to be just as charming as it looked in that National Geographic article!
Batisse, the goat
Quebec City was a place where I really didn't have an itinerary, the joy of Quebec City is wandering the well preserved streets of the Upper and Lower Town, enjoying a drink or a helping of poutine on an outside patio and relaxing.
Italy wins the World Cup
We happened to be in Quebec City on the day that Italy won the World Cup against France, I was a little surprised at all of the supporters that came out honking their horns and waving Italian flags.

Never been to Quebec City, but it does look like a wonderful city to visit. Looks like you had a great experience there. Crepes and sugar pies - oh my!

Awesome. Now I will have a full poutine belly before planning the perfect time to attack those smug guards at the Citadel.

Great Quebec City page! It's always nice to see my hometown through the eyes of a visitor :o) But common, you gotta give galvaude a try, that's what I always get at Ashton's!!
