  • On a rather overcast Sunday morning we headed to the harbour (spelled with a u to appease my Canucky tormentor rmdw) area and walked from the Union Station area to where the Toronto Music Gardens. Fellow Vter Greg (can't remember his screen name) recommended it and it was indeed a lovely stop.

The Music Garden was designed by cellist Yo-Yo Ma and is often used as an outdoor musical venue. Even without the music, it's a lovely park to sit in, there are benches scattered throughout.

Yep!! I snagged it! $605 ($350 + taxes) return to Frankfurt on the fabled "AirTransat" which, according to you, doesn't exist. Now if you really think about it... You've seen me in Europe before so I must be getting there somehow. >:D

Chinese food AND Greek food...Toronto is foodie heaven! :-) Niagara Falls looked amazing with the snow and ice, but the "Maid of the Mist" boats weren't running...so I'll have to return there one summer!

Looks like this was a great VT time, regardless of the weather. Your restaurant tips are excellent. I also always enjoy your hotel writeups...detailed and helpful. I smiled a good deal while viewing the travelogues.
