If you find yourself in Pleasant Prairie, you might as well make a stop at the Jelly Belly warehouse. I don't think the prices on the regular Jelly Belly products are any cheaper than you can find in the stores but you can sample the many different flavors, buy Jelly Belly merchandise or 2 lb. bags of Belly Flops at discounted rates, the rejected Jelly Bellies that may not look so pretty but are supposed to taste just as good.

Our tour guide said the most popular Jelly Belly flavor is cherry (although buttered popcorn is giving it a run for its money) but I found a new personal favorite-caramel apple!

Jelly Belly Warehouse tour

If you have a little time to spare, you might as well hop on the Jelly Belly train for the 1/2 hour tour around the warehouse.

You are given a Jelly Belly hat to wear, the guide actually said it was required, and then hop on the Jelly Belly train which takes you in a loop around the warehouse, stopping every so often to watch a video screen with footage of one of the factories showing the production of Jelly Bellies or in front of a factory prop. It was sort of like watching the shows on the Food Network where they show you how candy is made except you're wearing a goofy hat and sitting on a train.

At the end of the tour everyone gets a free sample bag of Jelly Bellies and can admire the Jelly Belly art on the walls.
