I have long wanted to visit both Charleston and Savannah and the years passed without us making a trip to either one. But I finally had a chance to visit both by adding on a couple of days to a trip to North Carolina for Patty (hexepatty) and Steve's (NC_Ziggy) wedding.

We didn't have as much time in Charleston as I would have liked, our flight arrived late and we got a late start to the day but I really enjoyed the brief visit we had. A lovely low country lunch at Jestine's Kitchen started out the day followed by a walking tour of Charleston, a visit to a couple of the mansions, dinner at Hank's and a stop for dessert at Jestine's.
