Tremont Park Hotel: BaltOberfest hang out Comfort Inn & Suites Baltimore Review
Show Prices

Thanks to lovely Patty (Hexepatty), we were able to get a group reservation at the Tremont Park for a good part of the VT crew for BaltOberfest which was great because there always seemed to be a VTer or two hanging around the lobby and it made it more economical to get taxis to and from events.

There are three Tremont's in Baltimore, so make sure you are looking at the right one.

Unique Qualities: The Tremont Park is a suite hotel with a choice of either a studio or one bedroom and the rooms are all very large, those with the 1 bedroom suites were especially pleased with the size of their rooms. Just like in apartments, the studios have the bed in the main part of the room, the one bedroom has a separate bedroom. Both studios and 1 bedrooms have a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, range (no oven), coffee maker and toaster and comes with dishes and utensils, the one bedrooms also have a table. Both room types have a couch, the studio's had a pull out bed. There's also an ironing board/iron and a terry cloth bathrobe.

The bathroom had a hair dryer, usual toiletries (shampoo, soap, lotion) and fairly thick towels but the only complaint I have about the hotel is that the water in the shower was really hard to regulate and one out of the three nights I didn't have any hot water and others in our group had no hot water at all!

There were cookies and punch in the lobby every afternoon and several in our group report that they had continental breakfast but when we asked at the front desk they said that they didn't always serve it and didn't advertise it. On weekdays, you can get a complimentary copy of USA Today delivered to your room.

Address: 8 E Pleasant St, Baltimore, MD 21202
