"Bakhchysaray" Bakhchysaray by Dabs
Bakhchysaray Travel Guide: 34 reviews and 80 photos
On our 3rd day in the area around Sevastopol, we headed to Bakhchysaray, about an hour away by bus. There are a couple of highlights in the area, the Khan's Palace and Chufut-Kale, one of the cave cities that exist in the Crimea. While neither the Palace or the Cave City rivaled what we've seen in Turkey, it still made for an interesting day trip from Sevastopol and it was certainly not what I'd expect to see in Ukraine.

Its a sensational picture..
Hi, Kristi! Thanks for your page and pictures! Great presentation! ><><><><
nice shots. it is really uncomfortable to find right entrance without signs in English :-)
Excellent page! Would love to go there! The sign on the 1st photo which is not the entrance the cave city says that there was a Derwish monastery and muslim cemetery through there.
Excellent step by step guidance to Chufut-Kale. Bravo!
A lovely guided tour of the palace Kristi :-) I love the story of the Fountain of Tears! Excellent transportation tips too and the baklava sounds so tasty :-)
The Summer Pavilian at Khan's Palace certainly looks cool and relaxing. What a great spot to read a good book. You had Ukrainian baklava!!! Ooooh I am envious.
hi thats funny - also in Bulgaria the women seemed to have the uncanny knack of getting through all sorts of terrain with sexy stilettos and there was I just coping in my rather masculine sensible big very unfeminine clodhoppers.Enticing pic here.
