When we first started talking about going to the big Euromeet in Krakow, I started weaving in a visit to Lviv, a city that I had wanted to visit on our last trip but just couldn't quite squeeze in. And then it got added to the official Euromeet schedule and then it mushroomed into 40 VTers descending upon Lviv, surely the most foreign tourists the city sees at one time! The locals must have thought us a curious lot, walking around with our nametags and trying to decode the Cyrillic signs back into something we could understand.

Although perhaps not a sentiment shared by all the VT guests, I really enjoy walking around a city that is still truly foreign, one where I may still have to communicate by hand gestures, where every corner is not littered with a McDonald's or a Starbucks, where you might still spot a lady wearing a babushka selling milk straight from a cow or offering a wedge of cheese to test the freshness.

You had PIZZA in the Ukraine!!! Shame ! And you teased me about having Spaghetti Bolognese in Krakow! hehe!The cemetery is Lychakiv and it's Tram #7. Will be back later for more. Great job so far.
