Getting TO/AROUND: We drove into Liechtenstein from Eastern Switzerland, I knew that when we crossed the river we would enter the country but if I hadn't I probably wouldn't have even noticed that we entered a new country. Entering from Austria is another story, they have a real border guard there and I believe some kind of toll but we turned around before we got to the border.

Driving around Liechtenstein was a breeze, the country is not very large, 16 miles long and 4 miles wide so it's hard to get lost as at some point you run out of country!

SWFC_Fan Tue Mar 18, 2008 19:03 UTC I need to put aside a weekend, fly to Zurich and then spend a couple of hours crossing this little country off my list! :-) You'll be fine in Norway without having to resort to fast food places...prices are a bit cheaper than Iceland! :-)

One of the big scandals here in Germany in recent weeks has to do with very prominent (and supposedly clean-nosed) rich Germans using Liechtensteinian "foundations" for tax evasion.	starship Fri Mar 14, 2008 13:44 UTC Nice page! I also lament the fact that many countries no longer stamp passports -- it not only documents that you entered that country but it's kind of a souvenir in a way! At least US immigration is vigilant of who enters/leaves the country!
