"Gateway to Iguacu Falls" Foz do Iguaçu by Dabs

Foz do Iguaçu Travel Guide: 308 reviews and 614 photos

To visit Iguacu Falls, you can either stay on the Brazilian side in Foz do Iguacu, stay inside one of the parks or stay on the Argentine side in Puerto Iguazu. We booked our package through Go Today and all of their options were on the Brazilian side, we weren't really inside the city of Foz do Iguacu, but were within a 10 minute cab ride of the city and a bit closer to the Falls than if we had stayed in Foz

One of the world's great waterfalls and all-you-can-eat Pizza. Life can't get much better than that.

The falls look beautiful on the Brazil side too. I'll have to see both sides.

Very useful and interesting tips on your Foz experiences! We ended up there by accident so did not spend much time. I agree with your resort hotel assessment re a short visit to the area - our small low-end hotel in Puerto Iguazu was perfect for us!

Incredible photos of the falls. The resort does look excellent, but I agree, if you are away all day and eat in town, you don't need the resort. Laughed, of course, about the pizza buffet!

Wow, these falls are just gorgeous - thanks for bringing us back some pictures, Kristi! Man, your food & transportation is incredibly cheap - I think I want to visit now.
