Madrid is a surprising and nice capital town where you will find lots of contrast. From the neoclassical architecture of the Royal Palace an the "Madrid de los Austrias" zone to the modern avenues. If you like art, Madrid is the perfect place with the "Triangle Art", composed by three important museums, headed by the "Museo del Prado".
The subway connects almost all the city, even at the airport, so you won't have any transport problem.
And the nightlife is one of the most exciting across Europe.
If a very interesting city, really, and it would be better if you take at least 5 days to visit it: there are lots of things to see... even Egyptian constructions in the middle of the park!
