Megasaurus Camp: Megasaurus Camp is a Great Spot in Keetmanshoop

You can also camp at Megasaurus. We were the only ones there to enjoy the spectacular kookerboom landscape. They have small cabins available, but you can bush camp about 5 km back into the koopies. They have bathing facilities and toilets. Hot water included when the donkey boiler is heated up. It is a great place to relax from the long journeys that are necessary in Namibia inorder to get anywhere.

Rock Hyrax are common. We saw bat eared fox as well.

Unique Qualities: Beautiful landscape owned by a really nice family.

Directions: From Keetmanshoop follow the signs to the Kookerboom forest and Giants Playground. Megasaurus camp is about 20 km past these other sites.
