Most of my experience with Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was off the coast. I pasted it nearly 50 times on a Thursday while I worked on the S.S. Independence from 1998 to 2001. The park is definately worth visiting. You can see how distructive the volcanoes are and how the vegetation bounces back into lush rainforests that support amazing diversity of wildlife. |
