With only a month to spend in all of China we saw many of the highlights and a couple of extraordinary off the beaten path places that China has to offer. We got around entirely by train, which was a wonderful way to see the Chinese countryside and exprience life, the local way, on a train. It was actually quite comfortable. The people are a bit overwhelming in their astronimical numbers. But one on one, the Chinese are among the nicest people we've met. They are very respectful and hospitable towards travelers. |
