I always wanted to see the dutch bulbfields, so I promised myself I would go and have a look at the Keukenhof for my 30th birthday.
To give you an idea how spectacular it is, more than 7 million bulbs are planted every year and the gardens are only open for about 2 months of the year. They will be open next year from 25/03/2004-20/05/2004. This year the gardens are open until 18 May and opening times are 8-19:30.
Make sure that you get to the lake and if you are hungry there are cafés and restaurants there which are very busy.
