It was again just a quick stop on the way to somewhere else, leaving the bus station I was wondering whether I would know which way to walk to find Gibraltar and then I looked across the street, in the distance I saw a huge and very obvious whitish grey rock, I lifted my heavy rucksack on my shoulder and tried to cross the busy Spanish road deep in thought as to why my country wanted to own a huge stone. It must be for the same unknown reason that I ended up staying a week there, just relaxing in a bit of familiar Britishness (after living and travelling abroad for so long) mixed with warm weather and sandy beaches where you could actually swim and lots and lots of shopping and fish and chips....
