London is a great city! There is so much going on, so many places to go and so many events!

I have been coming to London since I can remember even as a young child my parents took me to many of the museums and parks. Now I'm older, I still love wandering around and exploring it.

Covent Garden

Whenever I go to London there are some places I visit time and again. I really love the Covent Garden area and alwaus stop off for a bit of window shopping and a coffee before walking on to Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho.

If you thought that you only found animals in London Zoo, think again!! A great new website has found elephants in the underground! Check it out this site for some great souvenirs of the city:

If you do want to see real live animals while you are in London then here are a few suggestions:

London Zoo is a great place to visit and you can even get there on a beautiful canal boat! Although there are no elephants at the zoo, the night time houses full of possums, sloths and sugar gliders (my favourites) were very interesting.

The famous ravens at the Tower of London. Do you know the legend??

The WWT wetland centre in south west London is a place to find ots of different types of water birds.

The London Aquarium London Aquarian is great if you like tiger sharks.

Apart from this you can find lots of ducks and even deer or flamingos at many of London's Parks, which are free.

Those interested in animals of the extinct or non-moving kind should head to the Natural History Museum !!
