Members of my family have been coming to Ruislip Lido for decades, so it was high time I took a trip there!! Its a great green area to escape from London although sadly no longer a place to go swimming. Good for some walking in the fresh air, sunbathing on the beach, taking the mini-railway if you have kids, going to the pub or eating icecream.
