  • The inn keeper may be the kindest person on earth. Her husband runs the restaurants across the street. They provide a 4" thick futon mattress to make it easier to sleep on the tatami matt floor.

    Unique Qualities: BASIC accommodations, shared Japanese style bathroom with shower. Not much to look at, but ONLY $15/ night per person (double occupancy), without meals.

    Don't miss the nearby Shosei-en Garden with 3 tea houses, dozens of hungry Kobe fish, ducks & walking paths - a priate urban oasis. (100¥ + donation).
