| 7th Avenue and Sterling Street |
Closest thing to Europe within the five Boroughs of New York City. |
| | PROSPECT PARK Prospect Park is the best thing about the neighborhood. Plenty of room for frisbee, sunbathing and especially walking through wooded trails and through stone bridges. |
| 3rd Street above 8th Avenue |
| | BROWNSTONES Only a handful of these classic 4 1/2 storey homes remain single family residences. The exception is the wide 3RD STREET shown here, with heavy ornamental stonework. Quarried 'brownstone' is used for a majority of the buildings in the neighborhood - often divided into 4 or 8 apartment units.::
See the Prospect Park Travelog for the next picture in a walking tour to grand Army Plaza. |
