An August scene.

Not yet warm enough for this Ozzie to swim and too chilly in, to stay indoors. Vindicio boasts a nice little swimming beach (toehold only in August), a pretty park and children's playground, Pathway around the foreshores, a bocci lane, a bar or two - one with a duke box and dance floor and a rockwall for fishing, fossicking or just to sun bathe on. There is a bus run from Formia although I regularly walked this route for a quick dip.

Pros and Cons

Pros:It is quieter than most of the beach areas around
Cons:As with many places in summer too hot.
In a nutshell:Great place to holiday.

I learn something new every time I read your pages. I was so close to this place and did not know about it. Looks inviting, except for fires off in distance.

Forest Fires are such a danger!! Vendicio looks like a beautiful area!
