    • I wouldn't drive anywhere after a meal because if you've been drinking it could impair your judgement. One slip or lapse of attention on the Amalfi road could be fatal. There is one corner where the bus couldn't get around without doing a tricky manouver which involved part of the back of the bus actually over the edge...............if at all nervy make a decision to just take photos the whole way and don't look down.

     I'm not a "beach-goer" but like cliffs and sea, and the Tyrrhenian is beautiful with your descriptions, Carole. Think Ulysses listened to the mermaids here between the Sorrento Peninsula and Capri; their songs added to the beauty. I will go there one day!
