"Amazing Terracina" Terracina by unravelau
Terracina Travel Guide: 15 reviews and 30 photos
The Tempio di Giove, Terracina is an amazing place. I don't know much about architecture but this line of umpteen dooways really impressed me. This is a popular shot, similar to many postcards that I saw about the place before I went.
Terracina township, like many of the seaside towns in Lazio is divided into sections. This photo is mostly of those residences and shops on the flat area beside the sea and before the mountain of the temple.
Another building with a host of little rooms/cubicles inside and a courtyard out the back (further away from the camera).
- Pros:It is a beautiful seaside town with lots of character, plenty of history and charm.
- Cons:It could do with a more frequent bus service to the summit of the mountain.
- In a nutshell:It would have to make for a fun and interesting stay.

Bottled sense of humour - what a good idea. The only problem is those who need it most almost certainly wouldn't buy it!
RE the picture of Tempio di Giove, Terracina Doorways. Popular or not, it is an excellent photo. Well done. Ciao. Bill.
Great page Carole! Hahaha, a bottle of 'sence of humour' would be great to have. Wish I could buy it to put it in my backpack :-)))
How did they build that road? They used an ancient version of power tools... SLAVES

You are absolutely right on that one Carole a GSOH is vital when you are the lost sheep!!
Interesting page Carole! I have never been to Italy - but if I ever get to Terracina I will try to remember to pack my sense of humour!:))
