I have lived in London for seven years now and it's an OK place to live. I mean it's crowded, ridiculously expensive, dirty, polluted and the people can be rude and really dodgy. However, I know of nowhere where everything you could ever need is so easily to hand, the public transport is so good or where there are so many different cultures all living side by side. This makes London one hell of a cosmopolitan, modern, and exciting city to live in (if you can afford it!).

My picture is of the Notting Hill Carnival, one of the largest Carnivals in the world which started as one truck and a band of about 20 Trinidadian citizens living in London who were homesick!! Only in London could some thing like that grow so huge!
