Rainy day in Salem
It was cold, rainy, and miserable the day we went to Salem for the first time. After a lovely brunch at the Hawthorne Hotel, we wanted to see some museums and sights around...alas, we didn't see much. We did go to the wax/salem witch museum where we took a look at scenes from the history of the town. It was disappointing, but we were relieved to be indoors.
You can pretend to be a pirate after seeing the waxen scenes of Salem!
I really want to return to visit the art museum...it looks amazing!
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Lots of beautiful houses, many museums, yummy brunch
- Cons:Brunch is not cheap! Lots of lines for museums...if it's raining, no where to hide!
- In a nutshell:I'm going back!
