If you want cute ice cream shops, Newburyport has them...want to buy nautical souvenirs? They're here, too. Hip coffee shops, clam chowder, thick steaks.....all here. A lovely boardwalk and pier. Local theatre, amazing homes with widows walks and views to the ocean....it's all here!
Check out www.newburyportchamber.org for lots of useful information. Newburyport is a great option for a day trip...you can rent water equipment, or take a boat ride, or visit the many historic sites. |

Pawtuxet Sun Nov 6, 2005 22:19 UTC I made a sweep through the town when I was up that way and thought the homes were quite beautiful. | Yaqui Wed Jul 28, 2004 21:56 UTC I love to just walk around too! It's the best way to see everything up close and personal! | gilescorey Sat Feb 7, 2004 09:19 UTC Right on the money...very cute, but almost "Disney does New England". Revitalization funds all came at once. But I STILL want to live there! | BabciaMaine Sat Aug 23, 2003 15:15 UTC love this town too! |
