Boston Transportation

Transportation: South Station
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • 'Mode': TO
    Category: Train
Getting TO/AROUND: South Station is excellent. If you want a train, bus, or just to take a look, it's worth the trip. There are food booths inside, but they are expensive. Lots of variety, though. It's tiny compared to Penn Station or Port Authority, and it's very clean and comfortable.

I love the lighting; it is airy and bright.

    Transportation: Zakim Bridge
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • 'Mode': AROUND
    Category: Car/Motor Home
Getting TO/AROUND: Make sure to drive over the Zakim/Bunker Hill bridge...it's pretty cool. It looks nice in the rain, even. At night it's lit up wonderfully, and during the day you can admire its lines.

I used to be a waiter, too (when I was a student in New York), so I know how you feel. Happy New Year, and greetings from Frankfurt am Main.

We had some great food at this place when we used to live right around the block in Cherry St. Probably the best tasting food in Waltham (& much of Bsoton actually). It's nice to see these places here, or you may just forget. Thanks for that. :-)
