We had a wonderful four days in Berlin. It was our first real stop in Germany, and we explored so many neighborhoods, mostly on foot. We relied on TimeOut Berlin for a lot of guidance, but the most interesting places and people were found by accident.
We only spent a few hours on the Museum Insel, and the remaining time was spent exploring nooks and crannies in Berlin proper. We saw the main sights, yes, but it's Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, and Friedrichshain that really made the visit. I hope you enjoy the pages and tips.

- Pros:Walkable, clean, interesting, lots of variety
- Cons:Lots of tourists (!) in certain places, some streets can be confusing.
- In a nutshell:Can't wait to go back!

Bravo! To my knowledge you are the first VTer to say "Don't walk in the Bike Lane!" Very good advice, second only to "Don't park on the Bike Lane!" I like the travelogues on this page, as well as the tips.
Excellent page! Well, tickets aren't checked very often on trains, happens to me maybe once per months and I use the U-Bahn every day.
