The adventure of 3 Belgian "gazelles" in Morocco began by the meeting, one day of the summer 2003 in a train between Liege and Brussels, of Kamal, who was on holiday in Belgium to visit his cousin. He asked me a question and then we began a big discussion about tourism in Belgium and in Morocco... and when I went out of the train, I knew already the whole geography of Morocco thanks to a map he drawed for me.

Three monthes later : here I am with my friends Maud and Bridget (VT member Bigjones) !!!! Kamal was of course the first one to welcome us at the airport! We discovered Agadir, Guelmim (the town where Kamal lives), Marrakesh and from there, we made a 4-days- tour in the south of the Atlas (Ouarzazate-Draa Valey-Zagora-Merzouga-Tinerhir-Todra & Dades Valley) and then we finished our holidays by visiting Essaouira.

The landscape was wonderful and we could not believe our eyes...the nature was so different! We saw everything : the sea, the cliffs, the desert of dunes, the desert of stones, the mountains, the rivers, the green valleys, the red rocks...

But what was also very special is the contact we had with the people... we had the chance to meet very nice persons who made us discover the real inside of the moroccan culture... So thanks Marouan, Kamal, Amal, Fatimzara, Mohammed, Mohammed (another), Idir, Hussein, Adi, Adil and may more!
