I visited Ecaussinnes thanks to my sweet friend Charles that wanted to make a biking tour in the region where he lived as a child. He let me discover all the nicest things of the region...and the bike was an ideal mean of transport to do it, enabling us to take the smallest paths and to cover a quite large distance :-) It was not so easy because of the many downhill and uphill streets but it was good for our shape!

Ecaussinnes groups three differents villages : Ecaussinnes-Lalaing, Ecaussinnes d’Enghien,
Marche-lez-Ecaussinnes. It is in the middle of the nature, in a hilly and very cute landscape. But there are not only cows and land, you will find also some touristic curiosities : two wonderful castles, an old bridge, the cute valley of the Sennette and lots of hiking possibilities like the "Chemin des Amoureux".
