Great info about Motovun. I will be travelling to Rovinj from 2nd August and Motovun is on my list, according to website I'll miss the film festival :(

Motovun is a great place as several other inner Istria perched cities. I have visited it in October and it was quiet. There is so little space that I wonder how packed it may be during the film festival !

I love this place, special atmosphere also without the film festival crowds. And yes, tartufi - truffels are a Must Try!
