Brioni…again! Since I used up all my travelogues and I was going to add a bunch of pictures, here is more of Brioni. This is the gorgeous beach I am talking about!
There are 4 hotels in which you can stay, all offering a great view, but most lacking a/c which can be brutal in the months of Jul/Aug. If you take a walk around, you will see a few museums and galleries, the “Byzantine Castrum” (where my homepage picture comes from), and if you take the train (with a guide) you will get to see the flower gardens, the safari (zebras, deer, etc) and the Brioni villas and fortresses.

Address: Closest mainland point is Fazana, Istra.

Directions: Take a bopat from fazana, Pula, Prec, Rovinj, Venice...to Brioni.

If you are a skydiver, you...

If you are a skydiver, you MUST do a dive in Vrsar!!
This is said to be one of the most beautiful places on earth to skydive!!
It is cheap (about 50DM) for a jump, and the view is fascinating. You will see hundreds of small islands on the way down and it's breathtaking...

However, skydiving is not offered every day, and should go and visit the locat Vrsar Airport or any travel agency to see the schedule (and rates, if they change)...
