    • Luggage And Bags: No sharp things. Also, if you have a video camera it might be inspected by customs on your return.

    VERY IMPORTANT:
    If you are visiting Cuba during a national holiday, such as the 01st of May, - your camera will for sure be inspected and reviewed upon return.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: SWEATHER !!!
    If you are going during winter time, it does get cold during the night..... and most hotels have an outside entertainment area...so it gets chilly":)))

    Toiletries & Medical Supplies: Bring everything you think you will need. Mosquito repellent, band aids, shampoo....etc.
    If you leave it at home, expect to pay 2-3 times as much for it.

    Photo Equipment: Everything you have!
    Espeially if you are visiting Havana:)


    Miscellaneous: Small change since everything is $1.00 to $10.00 ....
    Most place swon't have chnage to give yo if you have a 50.00 bill for egg.

     Hi, do you know the earliest the bus picks up people from varadero to Havana. (how long is the trip). I will be arriving at the varadero international airport(cuba) at 5:20 AM. I need to get to Havana as soon as I can. Please advised.    		kateraid10 Mon Jan 2, 2006 19:09 UTC
     i went to varadero and i will never go back to cuba again, our luggage was broken into and our stuff was stolen and even if you lock your suitcase they will break your zipper... becareful.

     Great info. I like the fact that Varadero is somewhat close to Havana. hmmm something to keep in mind I guess.
