I think the best way to go to Germany is by plane because you can find many new constructed airports here. You can also visit this land by car because of the good organized traffic network.
Getting Around: There are many 'Autobahnen' and 'Europastraßen'(little Highway) like E533
(south-east to north-east) or E40 (in the middle of Germany from west to east) which are spreaded at the whole countries. You can also go by train but this time it is very expensive and the trains do not come on time. When you want to stay in Germany for a longer time than some weeks and you do not have a car you should buy a 'Bahncard'. When you are the owner of a 'Bahncard' you can drive for a better price. I think you can get 25% or 50% discount for your ticket.
