"Istanbul" a Istanbul Travel Page by albateh

After a very long time of waiting this moment to come, finally I had the chance to make my dream of travelling around the world come true. Last Feb. 06 I applied the Schengen visa from the Greek embassy but unfortunately it was rejected, I was planning to see Europe (France, Greece, Belgium..). I was very disappointed and thought that it is impossible for a young man to do it. But "IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING" My friend on VT (Fouads) was planning to go to Istanbul for business trip, Fouad is the one who gave me the hope back again (Thank you my brother).
After only one day in the turkish embassy I got the visa, and the first adventure in my life had started.

This picture of Aya Sophia is a proof of the mix of cultures in Istanbul.

Yes, a new day has come but it was the last day for me in Istanbul, this picture was taken in the early morning in the international airport of Istanbul, at this moment i was remembering the greatest moments that I spent in Istanbul, it is very difficult to leave a beautiful country like Turkey behind. Turkey was the second home for me, but at the end the plane took off and this is LIFE. It won't be the last time.....
